The fundamental development of Plasma physics has contributed to the plethora of diverse applications including computers,
lighting, waste handling, space sciences, switches and lasers. The field has opened up new avenues of basic science. Researchers belonging to
the field are among the great contributors to the development of chaos and non-linear theories, turbulence, electromagnetic waves and other
phenomena involving charge particle dynamics. The field has a number of sub-branches, especially including dusty plasma, whose developmental
evolution is a matter of crucial importance and fundamentally vibrant.
This symposium aims to bring together the researchers from across the field of plasma physics to discuss the recent trends in
its basic research. The objectives of the symposium are to develop greater understanding of the fundamental problems in the field and
its possible perspective towards industrial application as well as conducting large-scale experiments. This will be an opportunity for
the young researchers to interact with the dignitaries and to get access to the various disciplines of plasma physics. This will also
open up the scope of collaborative approach for using the existing facilities of many different institutions and universities.
